Account Management
Your Edge account is the gateway to all Edge products. It's managed through the Edge control panel — a single interface for Compute, CDN, DNS, Storage, billing, team management and more.
The Control Panel
The control panel is where you manage everything. It's accessible at edge.network/account and is organised around your products and account settings:
- Compute — create, manage and monitor virtual machines, SSH keys, security groups and startup scripts
- CDN — manage content delivery deployments, domains and cache
- DNS — manage zones, records, test.network and ed.ge domains
- Storage — create buckets, upload files and manage access keys
- Activity — audit log of all actions across your account
- Billing — subscription, invoices, payment methods and usage
- Settings — profile, security, communication preferences
Creating an Account
Sign up at edge.network/account/access/new using email and password, or sign in with Google or GitHub. New accounts start with a 30-day trial for $2.50, giving full access to all products.
After the trial, choose a plan that fits your needs. See Pricing & Plans for details.
Teams & Seats
Edge accounts support team collaboration with role-based access control. Invite team members by email and assign them a role:
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access including billing, team management and account deletion |
| Admin | Resource and team management, no billing access |
| Developer | Create and manage resources, API keys, view team |
| Viewer | Read-only access across all products |
Invitations are sent by email and expire after 7 days. Invitees can sign up or sign in to accept.
Seat Limits
- Dev and Startup — single seat (owner only)
- Scaleup — unlimited seats at $5 per additional seat/month
- Business — unlimited seats at $2.50 per additional seat/month
- Enterprise — unlimited seats included
Multiple Accounts
A single user can belong to multiple Edge accounts — for example, a personal account and a company account. Switch between accounts from the account selector in the control panel navigation. You can set a default account from your profile settings.
Billing
Billing is managed from the Billing page in the control panel. Here you can:
- View your current plan and resource usage across all products
- Upgrade or change plan — with downgrade protection that checks current usage against the new plan's limits
- Manage payment methods — add, remove and set a default card
- View invoices — current and past invoices with PDF download
- See add-ons — any test.network or ed.ge domains on your subscription
Billing is handled through Stripe. All plans can be billed monthly or annually (with a 15% discount for annual billing).
Profile & Settings
Account Settings
View your account name, account ID, creation date and current plan. Account owners can delete the account (requires all resources to be removed first).
Profile
Update your name, company and default account. Your email address is set at registration and displayed for reference.
Security
Manage your password, set up two-factor authentication and view active sessions. See Security & Privacy for details on 2FA and session management.
Communication Preferences
Control which emails you receive from Edge — product updates, security alerts, usage reports, offers, and more. Optionally add a phone number for SMS notifications.
API Keys
Generate API keys from the control panel for programmatic access to Edge services. Keys can be created, listed and revoked at any time. Last-used timestamps are tracked for each key.
For AI agent access, use agent access codes instead, which provide scoped permissions and budget controls.
Activity Log
The Activity page provides a unified audit trail of all actions across your account. Filter by product (Compute, CDN, DNS, Storage) or view everything. Events include resource creation, configuration changes, billing actions, security events and more.
Support
From the Scaleup plan and above, submit support tickets directly from the control panel. See Commercial Support for response times and support tiers.
Full account documentation is available at edge.network/docs/account.
